How can I find the manufacture date of a Colt Commander? The first 2 letters of the Serial Number are CJ if that helps. Thanks.

I have had tremendous luck using the Colt web-site, "type in a s/n and get the date" app. It may be found at https://www.colt.com/serial-lookup . Good luck; if this does not work for you, there are others available, including Colt's own archive service, which may be rung at (860) 554-8088.
Hope this helps!
