After 36 years I retired my 10# production pot, showed up on the front door was a new pro 4-20 . I just turned 50 and had the little guy since I was 14 after I got my first muzzleloader. It got turned into a ladle pour after the bucket part of the spout cracked and got welded. It was a little learning curve , but I like the 4-20 so far . Cast a bunch of NOE 360 - 158 WFN 's this morning.

Yes they are a nice pot my first one died about 2 weeks ago and it had served me 17 years. It just needs a new thermostat and it will be back up and going.
Great looking bullet and pot marshall623. New to casting and I'm considering this mold. Are you happy with the mold and its performance? Curious as to what alloy you are using and what weight does your bullet drop at? Are you using aluminum or brass mold? Sorry about all the questions.
Im using COWW's with 2% tin solder added , these drop out at about 159 gr. +/- 1/2gr. Its a alum 5 cavity and I'm still learning on this one . Alloy ,mold and spue plate all have to be the right temp. to get all 5 dropping good bullets . After looking at the pic I see a few with the middle band is still rounded a little . They shoot great in my 357 mag tender for Hunters Pistol and IHMSA field pistol . Still have to try them in the GP100 but the 180 in that design does great in that as well .Originally Posted by Cookr21

Appreciate the response marshall623. I'll be keeping an eye on the noe site and most likely pick one up. I have a few revolvers that Id like to try them in. Sure is a great looking bullet, (like the large meplate). Thanks for posting.
The Pro 4-20 is a good pot. Hard to beat for the money.
