Last May, I picked up this Smith Model 18-3 in .22 LR in almost new condition. Beautifully accurate, it's really tight, as many Smith .22's are and I have to keep the chambers very clean to make ejection easy. It's fully as accurate from rest as my Smith Model 41 of 1977 vintage and a fine understudy for DA work with my M19's and 66's. Best Regards, Rod

Walther PPQ SF 9 mm, really feels close to a 1911.

    Model 17 no dash.

Just like me, there were 49 stars on the flag when it left the mothership:

    It's been a while...maybe a couple years since I bought one...it was a RIA 1911 in 38 super.
and sadly it sat in the gun safe until a month ago, when I finally started to load up some ammo for it.
The NOE 358-128-SWC (it looks more like a TC) pushed with a charge of Win 540.
I had it out to the range a few weeks ago..I fired 50 rds and only had one FTF, I put that same round back in the mag a couple more times and each time it wouldn't fully feed, I could not physically see the problem, so I just chucked that round.

I never liked the factory grips, so I sniped these off fleabay for $12
They didn't fit perfect, I had to get out a couple of hand files and do a little fitt'n to make 'em work.

I took this photo after I got it...those boolits are 135gr Ranch Dog. I haven't loaded any for this and probably won't.

A little over a year ago I acquired a NOS barrel for a K-32. Being impatient, I bought both a Model 14-3 and a 15-? While waiting for it to arrive. Since the profile for the 14 was what I needed, the 15 was sold to a member of this forum and my “newest” revolver is a recreated Model 16-3 built just like the factory sometimes did back then by altering an existing Model 14. I didn’t have the proper SB grips with square edge bottoms, so the grips are Roper style from Altamont. I think it came out pretty nice. BTW, the muzzle isn’t worn shiny, I just couldn’t eliminate the glare from the overhead light.

SIG 238 Legion. I am a wheel gun man at heart and had sworn off of semi autos. Time will tell if it gets swapped for a small frame revolver. It sure carries nice though.

Got a Colt Police Positive in 32 Colt new police. Nice old gun ,a shooter not a collector. Got some PPU brass and cast some boolits, great fun to shoot and very economical to shoot. Tim

Now that is NICE. I knew they made them but I had no interest in 32's back then. Times change and I'm currently in a 32 stage and they're hens teeth. I bet recoil is horrendous.

If I had kept the 6" Model 16-4 I ordered about the day they were announced, I would probably have two fewer custom guns today. Truth to tell though, I'm glad I got the stainless 327 built when I did, and really like the class of my recreated Model 16-3 mentioned above. I can't help but wish I had kept that 16-4, but then again, you can't have them all, can you?

I have so many "last handguns" that my dealer no longer believes me when I say this one is the last one.

I joke with mine that I should have a punch. After so many punches I get a free handgun

I won't have a "last one" until they bury me.

I bought three French surplus S&W’s from J&G. Kicking myself for only buying one with three inch barrel. Best of all the French S&W’s all appear to have not been shot very much. If you can look past the holster wear and slight rust on the back strap, apparently from being used as a hand rest. I really miss the three incher but couldn’t resist a straight across trade for a Mini-14. Another 4” model from France came with a parkerized finish and rubber grips.Click image for larger version.
