WELL, I'd love to show it off, but I don't seem to have the MOJO to upload the darned thing to a post, on here.

I bought half a gun last night...

Ordered a new Coyote Tan frame for my P365. $35.

It's pretty amazing that I can order a new P365XL frame that accepts 15-round magazines and have a completely different feeling gun for under $50. Sig certainly did things right with their modular system.

Well, it is not the last gun that I purchased, but, Saturday will be the tenth anniversary of having bought this one,,

I was looking at a Model 29 at a gun show, and the guy at the table asked if I was interested,,
I told him I really preferred stainless,, he replied that he had a stainless one in his car,,

He asked his friend to watch his table, we walked out to his car.
Well, he pulled it out of the box,, I had never seen a 3" Model 629 before,, I was astounded,,

Well, he said he needed $500 for it, I figured I would never get my money back but, I paid him,,

I have never shot DIY cast bullets in a 629 before,, but, this one might be different,,
The barrel is so short, I could clean the bore with a Q-Tip!!

The only problem with this gun is the lanyard loop on the butt,,
That protrusion makes it REAL HARD to drive fence staples with this thing,,,

Like Bill, a 1905 4th change M&P 32-20. Mine is a 4" which was really hard to find amongst all the 5" and 6" ones. The bore seems to have escaped the "32-20 bulge" curse and really loves almost any boolit I put through it. I hunted it up because I had won an auction for a B53 in .32-20 and wanted a companion revolver for it. My other pistol caliber leverguns have same-caliber blackhawk partners, but I couldn't find any in .32-20 and of course a SAA is out of the question, so here's the little K. I do wish it had adjustable sights and provenance of a heat-treated cylinder, but it's getting along OK so far. When it came in, I did put a spring kit in it and installed a pair of Pachmayr Grippers just out of habit, but when SWMBO shot it and its partner B53 at a recent gathering, she wanted service stocks instead of rubber, so it's my only S&W with wood grips. It's also my only S&W without any speedloaders; the K-32 loader's holes are too small and don't have enough wall to ream out, and I haven't found any tubing thin enough to adapt the K-38s. In the meantime I'm using some 9mm size speed strips and going way (way way way) back to my revo roots loading from loops. I will probably eventually get the .30 blackhawks cut to 4-5/8" and get some .32-20 cylinders for them, and then the little Smith may be surplus. I can't bring myself to get it milled for J or K sights, and I don't really like having to keep its ammo separate from the rifle's loads. It's fun to play with but it's not what you could really call a working gun.

It would take a bit of faith or a large stockpile of ammo to plunk down money on any gun these days. Was tempted to buy an 8 lb. jug of HP 38 yesterday but stopped because I have no idea when primers will be available again.

All I will admit to is I don't remember bidding on or winning a Single Six Bisley in 32 H&R. I also won't be looking forward to picking it up in a week or so when it may or may not arrive at my FFL. Since I don't remember it happening, I can't post pics and probably didn't spend any other money on accouterments from Midway and Brownells.

Colt SAA 5.5" .45 Colt was the last one I bought. Got it about a year ago, have not had the time to shoot it much.

My last gun so far this year is an NAA 22 mag revolver with a 1.5 inch barrel. There is still time left this year to get at least 2 more guns.

That was my first thought as well...but apparently she can, did and I can’t find the thing no matter how hard I look for it. This has to fall into a mental anguish kind of thing!

As long as it returns at the appropriate time, all will be well. Would be nice to give it a pre-Christmas trial though.
