    Ruger PC 9mm Chassis Carbine

Got it a few weeks ago, topped it with a Sig Romeo5 (awesome red dot!) and had one indoor range session with it so far. Hand loads only, 80 rounds of 4.2 grains of W231 over Precision 125 grain hi-tec bullets, range brass and Federal SPPs. So far so good, I like it for what it is.

Like everything about it but the cross bolt safety. I'm a lefty and it's not even reversible. Ruger, if your going to put a pistol grip on it, use a ambidextrous AR type safety.

Was also interested in their new LCP II chambered in 22LR.............until they put a right handed manual safety on it. They don't have one on the .380 version???

Seems everyone that buys the PC9 likes it a lot. I haven't read a bad review yet. Sadly, I have no use for a 9mm carbine. I say this because any carbine I own has to pull double duty to be suitable for deer hunting as well as home defense. So, I guess I'll just have to wait for Ruger to bring it out in 10mm or .44mag.

.40 S&W is a .38 WCF by any other name. I'd hunt deer with one with 180 gr flat nose.
