Lyman mag 20 parts

Does anyone have a source for a heating element & thermostat for a Mag 20? I've looked on Google with no luck. I'm sure parts for these older pots are drying up but I hate to give up on such a great pot. Especially since the new one is a Chinese p o s.

I second the PID. I did away with thermostat and associated wiring and went with a PID. It made a vast improvement in my casting. My reaccuring problem was the plug-in terminals and wire terminals.
There are band heaters sold on ebay but you will need to know the diameter of the pot.

G'day , I have just gone through this myself I replaced the element with one from the lee 20LB pot a couple of bends and she fits good heats right up , I did away with the dial on the side and control the pot with a PID that I purchased from a member here .

Not sure on thermostat model, know the older 10# Lyman used one called a B200. Had that pot at one time but can't recall what the thermostat was. When I replaced one on the the 10# issue was adjustment, there is a tab on the knob shaft that had to be moved to allow it to turn farther to allow higher temps. If it is the B200 I still have a new one and no longer have a pot it will fit, yours if you need it.
