    Will do!!

    I went Cricket over Chipmunk. Cause Im contimplating making myown stock cant see spending more on stock I wont use. So I just got blk Plastic.

    Chipmunks are in the dealer pipeline. Crickets are only offered factory direct. But “steel” is same same Both pistols. Retail Cricket is like 180$ While Retail Chipmunk is 260$. Of coarse “street” costs in the store should be less. Im anticipating about 150$

    Yes on trigger. Planning on complete tear down and massage.

    Looking forward to you stock, I have considered the doing the same. Using a light hardwood like Poplar to drop a little weight. What are your goals, hunting Nd woods walking companion? Or ??

    My daughter is now 34 and I still have her Chipmunk rifle in the safe from when she was a toddler. They were made with quality walnut stocks and were extremely accurate. Not sure if they still are made.

    This is the biggest one I’ve ever killed, Polish underfolder AK for reference. She was just a touch over 26” long nose to tip of tail

    Big squirrel no doubt!

    UPDATE;

    STILL waiting on my Cricket. ;(. But I have spoken with the Keystone Factory four times and am holding hope that it’s either at my gun shop or will be tomorrow. Unbelievable it’s been such a hassle acquiring this.

    Nice; I took one out yesterday that was a smaller Grey so I used my Weihrauch .177 pellet rifle at 30 yards. Good riddance.

    Just called Keystone. (Not real happy with them.)
    Dispite the lip service they acknowledge the order but it’s not gonna ship till “possibly” end of this week. They say my dealer called up a few days after my order and ordered a stocking order. She said my order is included with that. ( So much for repeated promise of shipment the day payment & FFL arrive....

    SO probably NEXT week. That makes for over a 6 week wait for an in stock 150$ firearm.

    Back on topic here;

    I’m going to couple shops today. Might just order one of these!! Stainless in 22 Manglem!

    Savage 24 in 12 is a BIG gun. I agree on skatter gun! I use Savage 24’s usually myself. Easier than luggin a Rifle & 870.

    I have me a Savage 24 223 over 20ga. Love it for varmint hunting. I say varmint hunting instead of coyote hunting, because I am the absolute worst at calling in coyotes. I have seen far more coyotes in the wild by chance than I ever have calling them in.

    I like my 222/20 better than my later, bigger & heavier 223/20 Savage. That 222 is a earlier model and much lighter. Shoots great too regulation is MUCH closer than the 223/20. Not much difference as the 223 is a 1:14 so it won’t shoot heavier than a 55 g pill. (I tried!) my 62g Hornady hos hit full sideways!! Would surely kill, but hitting becomes the issue. No dog is gonna tell diff between a 50g going 3050 or 3175 FPS
