    Kel Tec CMR 30

The .22 mag semi auto that collapses and isn't much heavier than a pistol. Anyone have experience with one?

I have two buddies that have them and love them to death. Sounds like they have the same cycling issues as the PMR‘s does they are both finicky with failing the feeds and jams. But it doesn’t bother them... they think they’re the coolest little rimfires on the planet. They both took them the rifles out and shot them once or twice and I don’t think they’ve been shot since.

After owning a PMR 30 and getting rid of it I just have a hard time spending any money on a kel tec. I felt like I spent $400 bucks on a plastic squirt gun that wouldn’t cycle. As accurate as it was I should’ve just kept it and just kept manually cycling every other bullet through it to feed and put a red dot on it for squirrel hunting.

What kind of accuracy are they capable of?

I don’t think they ever bench tested them. From all the YouTube videos I saw they were about the least accurate all of The 22WMR semi autos tested. I think the CZ 512 was about the most accurate when averaged out group sizes with several different ammos tested, then the magnum research 22 WMR was a close second, the savage 3rd , and keltec was last. Imo it’s just a walk around novelty gun to plink with. It was never made for accurate bench rest shooting. It was made for spraying bullets. I’d like a cz512 and magnum research one of these days. The CZ and Magnum research were both shooting sub MOA if I remember and the best group CMR shot was an inch and a half and the average was more like 2 to 3 inches at 100 yards.
