A typical production machine has cast upper and lower frame components and pivot blocks.
If you are making 1 or a half dozen then they are machined since it doesn't make sense
to spend thousands on molds for cast iron/steel/aluminum.
Learned the press was made by Ralph Davis of MGM Bullets in SoCal back in the '60s. Anyone heard of him or his company?
