This is a two cavity mold from LBT . The design is his LFN type and it drops from the mold around a hundred ninety-four grains or so . It is a gas check design that uses 32 caliber gas checks ( I've used Hornady with great results ) . With my alloy the body measures at .319" to .320" and the nose is .307"to .308" . This combination has worked well in three Lithgow rifles two Savage mk four rifles and a 1914 pattern .303 rifle . For most rifles I've sized this bullet to .318" and it's fit well , the pattern 1914 rifle was sized to .316" in every rifle it fed from the magazine just fine .
The flat nose is big enough for hunting and the bullet is accurate enough for matches . Since I've sold most all of my .303 rifles I no longer need this so it's time for someone else to take it hunting .
