    PNK ARMS 300BLK brass

No clue as to who makes it (no google results) but had a complete shoulder separation in sizer die. Pickup range brass, looked good, no swipes or dinged rim. H.S. PNW Arms 300 BLK. Miked the 'straightwall' remains - 0.015 about 1/2" down. Another crack ready to separate just below the rim.
    Whatever!

My post is to warn that based on THIS case, bad brass! From the separation and crack below it, I'd not even shoot new ammo from them. Separation is clean like a inside chamfer tool run around it and I can see a stress crack all the way around below that. My guess never/poor annealed.
Had a case head separation with an old FC case in 40sw, gets your attention - yes it was a known problem - FC recalled.
    Whatever!

Thanks for the heads up, Popper. I believe I've seen some of those in my stash- I'll weed them out. I use mostly reformed LC but cousins give me their fired brass so I'd better look. Head separations are a royal pain.

Not a case head separation, a shoulder separation. Below the shiny separation is another crack all around the inside. Can't see on brass that still has a shoulder. Nothing down in the case to show over pressure or anything. I'll eventually get around to removing the neck and shoulder out of the sizer. Case was well lubed before sizing. I wouldn't even shoot this stuff if new but it was acclaimed as very accurate stuff.
    Whatever!
