Anyone using this powder in handguns? Thinking about getting a jug or 2.
Paper targets aren't your friends. They won't lie for you and they don't care if your feelings get hurt.

I tried it and found out quick it doesn’t like low pressure loads. If I loaded it hot enough to burn clean it cost more than other powders. Traded it back to the buddy I got it from when powder supplies were tight and they wanted to spread the hazmat cost when ordering from Jeff.

If you are able to get this powder from somewhere other than Jeff Bartlett give it a try. A couple of moths ago I bought the last BR-5 he had. While we were on the phone he told me that he doesn't think he will be able to get anymore. I have shot over 30 pounds of it in 9mm, .38 spl, 40 S&W, 45 ACP, 44 spl, and 44 mag. It was loaded the same as Alliant Unique. Never tried it in shot shells though.

It is my 38 super powder, works well. The 45acp full charge loads are accurate.
