Anyone know of a reliable place that will nickel plate small parts? Need to have a bolt and trigger re-nickelled for a Winchester 68.
There are lots of companies that can handle that but for two small parts it might not be cost effective.
Nickel plating will result in a bright finish. Electroless nickel plating will result in a less brilliant appearance but a harder and more wear resistant surface.
A google search will yield companies that can do both.
Investigate nickel plating kits. I have used such to replate some small parts on antique typewriters but don't have contact info any more. Google may or may not be your friend.

Thats kind of what I figured about the small parts, may be hard to find someone that would be willing to do for the probably small profit. And yes I have looked at the kits but way too expensive for what I need to do. I don't have or forsee needing to do any other parts that would make the kit cost effective either.
Call a few local jewelers, I have one in the family that has the stuff to do it.
