DC lyman 225462 there is some sort of brass / copper colored patina or oxide present in the cavity closest to the sprue plate screw. I was unable to get a dry q-tip to remove anything with a color from the cavities. So I dont believe it is rust. I think this mold won't have any problem casting fine bullets.
