How do you think I ended up with a 30" oven?

I was very lucky I was working at a powder coating company and I asked where they get their powder coating guns and what sizes they come in, that's when I got lucky they asked me if I wanted one, next thing I know they wheeled out this commercial unit that just needed some air hoses replaced and loaded it into my van and it works like a charm.

LOL, right place, right time. Congrats.

I am another who chooses to not use a gun. I don't want to build a hooded chamber to spray in and I don't want the powder all over. Heck, even when using shake and bake I wear a mask and it still gets powder on the bench and floor.

To me it seems the shake and bake actually gives more even coverage than spraying, but, that may have been my lack of skill with a gun.

On a hot plate, not an oven? How well can you control temps?
