I had no problems loading 380 with Unique using a Lee dipper. 10 scoops weighed 17.7 grains, weighing them 1 scoop at a time I could not detect any difference from scoop to scoop.

True Blue meters better than anything I've used. I have used it for 9mm and .45 ACP loads.


But I'm still partial to Bullseye...... around here it's cheaper.....and paper and steel don't complain.......

+1 on Power Pistol. Best 9mm powder out there IMHO. I also like N310 with light bullets 90-95 gr.

I just threw 5.5gr of Power Pistol behind a few Lee 125 (drops at 135ish for me) LRNs. Seemed to shoot well in my SD9VE. I want to see how it does compared to Blue Dot out of the carbine as well. I tend to lean Blue Dot in the carbine because it's got significant velocity gains over faster powders in my testing. That said it throws a pretty nice fireball out of my 4" SD9VE.

Howdy- became partial to Winchester Super Field for 9mm. A bunch of others work just fine, but for me, all things considered ( accuracy, recoil pulse, slide cycling speed, etc. ) Super Field became my favorite.

I use AA2 as I bought some surplus. If I ever run out I might try Power Pistol as it works so well in the 40.

I have recently been loading 9mm with the assorted powders I picked up during the shortage when I could only get whatever might be available at the time. I ended up with several different powders for pistol use and needed to get them used up.
It turns out that, unless you are looking for the absolute highest velocity you can get from your pistol, they all work well.
I tried the variety I had on hand, probably 8 different powders, under 5 0r 6 different boolit/bullet weights and couldn't see any real differences with the majority of them.
A couple stood out since they were capable of higher velocities, but as far as function and accuracy, they all worked well.

I used the all, but settled on Power pistol and hp-38 as the go to powders.

I have switched to Shooters World Powders for most of my reloading. Auto Pistol is a very fine ball powder. I am using it for 9mm Major loads for my AR9. It is hands down the smoothest powder I have used. Only problem I have had is the Lee auto drum leaking. It is not much but enough that you will have to clean it up after every use.

Tactical Rifle for my 223 loads. Same it is a ball powder and it meters perfect.

I have dies and molds for 9mm, but haven't reloaded any yet. If I buy 9mm ammo on sale (it's always on sale somewhere), I get loaded ammo for the price of jacketed projectiles. That saves me the cost of primers and powder.

Power pistol meters great and is good choice for the 9mm.Accuracy and velocity combined,although I tend to use faster powders for economical reasons. Enjoy

I've used mostly cfe pistol cause it's cheap, readily available, meters well and is accurate. I've also used tight group.

In a progressive set up, AA powders are hard to beat. Single measure---I have found no better performing powder in 9, 10, or 45 than IMR 800X
