Called to verify that twist rate on BBS was 1 in 20 . They are in the process of changing from 1 in 38 to 1 in 20 . They plan on using up barrels in stock before switching over . Could not or would not give me a S/N cutoff . Good news is the Single Shot was / is 1 in 20 from conception . Guess I'll wait a year or so before buying a 44 mag BBS .
My .41 mag BBS is 1:18.75” (1:19).
Don't have a problem with my 41 mag BBS , it's good . Was considering getting a couple more 1 in 357 & 1 in 44 . Haven't decided on just getting a SS or waiting until the 1 in 20 leverguns hit the shelves . Also thinking about a Contender Carbine with custom barrels throated like normal rifles .
My new BBS 44 is 1:20. It's the all weather model (plated).
Even better news is groove diameter is .4305.
Incredibly accurate.
