    Henry 45/70

Freind mine picked a Henry 45/70 with case hardened finish. I have not seen it yet but was curious how compares with the 1886 Winchester and the Marlin 1895 that I am familiar with.

I've only seen a photo, but appears to be a copy of the Marlin to some degree.

My brother bought one around thanksgiving. It’s a very nice rifle, I couldn’t find a single complaint. Nice wood, good looking case hardening, shot good and had a smooth action. I’ve got to admit I was a little jealous even though I have a marlin. Overall it is pretty similar to a marlin, but loads through the tube, if that matters to you.
