My First Groups With PC Boolits

The First Picture was shot with a LEE 162 gr. SWC at 30 meters out of a .357 case. Almost a max .357 load. The Second with 5.3 grains of W231 with a LEE 125 grains FPRN in .38 Special case. The third was 4.3 grains of IMR Target in a .38 Special case with a LEE 125 FPRN. I fired 50 rounds with IMR Target and this picture was the best. I was very disappointed with the accuracy Target gave me.

All targets fired at 30 meters, and standing.

You don't tell us in which weapon they were fired.
    I think in a revolver it's a good group.

30-meter free hand, I wouldn't be upset with any of those groups

Excellent! I guess that was the "yank" that set the hook?

Most people cannot shoot like that with a rifle.

The first group looks about 1.25" at 33 yards. That is less than 4 MOA....standing...with a pistol. The load is a keeper and I would not want to piss you off! LOL

BTW, an NRA slow fire target has a 10 ring about 7 MOA...it is shot one handed but I have never seen anyone shoot a clean score on one at 50 yards. Best I could do was in the high 90's in an indoor range.

You are definitely a finer marksman than I am. Very well done.

FWIW, I've generally found my cast .357 loads to be more accurate when they are approaching max power than lighter "target" loads. Just IME anyway.

My son works for a printing company here in San Antonio, and he prints those targets for me. It is 5 inches in diameter.

8.5 grains of Accurate No. 5, Starline brass, Federal Small Pistol Magnum primers. Use at your own risk.

The groups look fine for 30y. Try using a std primer instead. You get no benefit from mag primers with anything but super slow powders, & sometimes a mag primer will cause accuracy issues.
