NLG also work for low pressure using LLA or BLL. Just like LG boolits, gas cutting at base will blow the stuff off. GC pretty much solves that problem.

Whatever!
Shot 300 BO carbine (1:10 18") yesterday (bipod & sandbagged stock). 145gr slick sided mould GC & 2 coats BLL- 16gr 296 which is ~1900 + fps. Basic ~2 % Sb alloy AC, no tin. Barrel hasn't been cleaned for a long time, prev. PC & jax. Took a few to get scope re-zero'd with a few 125SSTs. Decent @ 50 yds and NO barrel leading! Target and bore scope pics on 'other' site. Heat treat for next batch and run the fps up to 2100.
Whatever!
I find a BIG difference between grooved and NLG bullets.
Not in accuracy though, in feeding thru Hornady bullet feeding dies.
NLG/coated bullets feed flawlessly, grooved/coated bullets not so much.
Size/Prime a few cases when starting off with a progressive and put them aside. You can plug them back into the process when a bad/odd case screws up in the priming station and continue loading.
