I ordered my molds on 1/6 and I received them on 1/11. They're well made and I'm looking forward to using them.

I'm still new at this casting thing so please understand, I ain't no kinda expert on any of this.
But, for those of you that may not know of this product......they are freakin awesome! I began with the store bought small Lee/RCBS 1 lb molds. I then tried the larger homemade angle iron variety.
All worked ok..... but none gave a product as nice as the RG/CB molds do. I have been lucky enough to score several of the Redneck Gold variety which (when folks see the imprinted ingots) always bring a smile.
These molds are a quality product which make easy to handle/stack ingots. Besides the RG imprint, the imprinted ID marks are great......all of the others require you to create your own method of marking the ingots composition....

"Along the bottom of each ingot are markings for PB (Pure lead) LN (Linotype) WW (Wheelweights) and OT (other) so you can easily mark your ingots"
How is everyone marking their ingots using these: Painting a circle around the marking? Putting something inside the ingot before pouring? Dedicating a mold and grinding off the unused letters?

A punch or screwdriver is one of the methods. After you drop the ingots out and cooled, punch above the letters and it is very easy to see, years from now.

Lakehouse, I just received my molds and they look great. Much nicer size than the 1 lb. molds by others.
    Thanks, John
