    Price check for a Jones mold

    I would appreciate if someone might give me an idea what a used but in excellent condition Jones mold is worth. 45-70-- .458--540 gtr. 4 grove creedmoor--45001 on the sprue tang. Thanks, Ed

    I gave $40 for the last SKS 44 cal DC mold I bought. Not sure if that helps.

    Paul Jones was sort of the Harry Pope of mould makers. If you define genius as the capacity for taking infinite pains, they were certainly both geniuses.

    The PJ Creedmoor 45001/45-70 is the grease groove boolit I use, when I load grease groove boolits.

    I saw that Jones mold on eBay that sold for $180 and it was a fair price since there are no more PJ Molds being made. I have several of Paul's molds and would not, if I had to, sell them for under $250 each and the Dan Theodore Mini Groove molds made by Paul for more because Dan died unfortunately
