I'd try putting a couple in a pan of hot water to soften the grease, and then poke & dig the powder
out with a small screwdriver while the case is under water, and see how that works if you're not going to salvage the powder.
Or turn it out by hand with a big screw or drill bit.

I use a drill bit hand held for that. run in and out to clear powder as it breaks up
Pull the bullet, slide into rifle and set off the "blank"
Water or firing.....How are you going re-prime Berdan?
