    RCBS 168SP mold

    Does anyone here use this mold and if so, does it feed OK thru the magazine on your 98' Mauser? I have an 08' Brazilian and a Chilean 1912'. I would like to use a cast boolit to shoot in the Vintage Military Rifle Matches but they have to feed thru the magazine. I have a few round nose boolits that work, but I heard the RCBS offering was a very accurate slug, but am kind of concerned about its feeding from the magazines...................

    The RCBS 7mm 168-SP many times won't cast in large enough diameter for milsurp 7x57 bores. The RCBS is made for British/American .284 barrels not the .286 - .289 Europen size bores of which most milsurp are. Best to go with the NOE version.

    I thought about the Noe version, but seems they are never in stock. Guess I'll just keep checking back......................

    My experience has been that NOE will make your mold pretty quickly. Can't hurt to ask them? Tom

    I gave NOE a call about the same issue, he said check back x day. I got one, they went fast.
    Don’t get the 4 cavity brass, casts good bullets.
