What length gas system for AR's with cast?

I'm considering getting a new AR upper in 350 Legend and would like to know what length gas system(s) will ensure proper function. Thanks

for a 16" barrel carbine gas system should be fine for function.

If using factory ammo or reloading to factory specs, carbine will work. Don't see anyone making anything but carbine anyway.
    Whatever!

There are a few out there that are Mid, but stick to carbine.

If your thinking of shooting cast, stick with the carbine. Those with longer length systems will be more likely to run into problems with function when they get around to trying cast recipes.

Thanks for all the input. I'll go with the carbine length.
