I found an old style out on my property the other day that was opened with a can opener. I Gave it to my pop’s. I’m sure there’s quite a few more out there. My old neighbors neighbors dumped a lot trash out there before I bought the property...I’m guessing before I was old enough to hunt. One day (month) I’ll have to clean it up. I found a lot of cool stuff in that pile. Old bottles, coffee pots, ect. No pewter yet. Found an old bike and a 2bbl carburetor as well.
Shoot, tell the young'uns we used the church keys to dial the rotary phones - infest 'em with confusion.
Britons shall never be slaves.
This generation doesn’t even know what a regular can opener is!

Over in Vietnam I remember seeing cans of Carling Black Label beer rusting away. Maybe the Canadians are still using steel for their beer cans.
ps....yes I still have my P38!
pss...a couple weeks ago I asked a young lady at a party if she had a church key....got a blank look
Death to every foe and traitor and hurrah, my boys, for freedom !
How many under 30 have ever seen a winder key like on the old SPAM cans or how to open a can that the winder was AWOL.

A good knife will open any classic tin can, if you know how to use it. Not the best for the sharpness of the blade, but it will do the job.
