Will this bullet hold enough bp lube to shoot black powder through a Ruger Bisley 45? How about through a Henry BBS 20" bbl.?
Or should I use a grease cookie between 2 cardboard wads?
Thanks in advance, Bruce.

From the photo's I found online, I would bet it will carry enough BP lube for the revolver. Not sure about the 20 inch rifle barrel tho. Might need a lube cookie for the rifle ... just need to try it and see if you get a lube star on the end of your barrel without the cookie. Then experiment with cookie thickness to arrive at the just rite recipe.
Maybe post a picture of your 45-270-saa boolit. Bettin you can only cram a 35 grain compressed load behind it but ... should be a giant hoot.
