    The census

    I applied to the US census bureau last month. they were advertising for PT work for a few months next year. didn't expect to hear back other than a decline, as I have no veteran service, and all federal work seems to go to vets first (not a problem reallyl

    But got a call Friday between a couple of my customers and had phone interview. And at end, she offered me clerk position. $19.75 an hour...
    Pretty darn good money for a clerk.

    I would suggest that any of you guys looking for short term position to check and apply...
    will give me some extra income during slow time..

    I saw a sign in Juliette Georgia Sunday. With my health I can't be going door to door, but maybe there's something I can do. I had no idea that it paid that well.

    This is a office position, I'm supposed to be more data entry, no door to door.
