    Powder coated lead boolits

Just wondering if anyone knows if powder coated lead boolits are legal for muzzleloader season in Idaho. The regs say no jackets bullets but not coated. And would a PC boolit be considered jacketed? I have been PC my pistol cast boolits for a while.
    Thanks in advance.

    I do not know.

But there is no doubt that a properly powder Coated bullet are clad in a polymer jacket.

Haha. I like how you think bosterr. I mean it is more of a lube than a jacket. Right?

Even the simplest Fish and Game Warden should know that cast boolits just gotta have lube!

Although I'd hate to be the first one in the state to make that argument in front of a judge.

I guess some may believe a bullet jacket has to be made of metal, but that is not the definition of a jacket. My thinking is if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck. So in the firing process what does a metal jacket do that a polymer jacket doesn't do? And once a jacketed bullet hits a target, all metal jackets do not perform equally as they too have different functions.

Here is one of my powder coated bullets smashed to 1/8 thick then hit again with a sheet rock screw to try and lift coating.

Copper/Brass jackets can never do that.
