    Pistol rest needed

    I need a small footprint Pistol rest.

    Cleaning
    installing red dots, base

    Site in also need.

    Any recommendation out there

    Perhaps you could make one or find a similar one.

    Modification of an old Hoppe's pistol rest. Same principal as the wooden one, pictured above. Uses a spring clamp to put pressure on the rubber padded aluminum angle iron grip holders.

    I’ve had one of these for 25 years and it works awesome and they’re only 15 bucks! It’s a MTM case guard pistol rest.

    For cleaning and maintenance I actual prefer a good bench vice with padded jaws. I have a versa vice on my bench right now. CF Plinkers would do well also. the problem working with the rests is the pistol can move and shift. I prefer the vise with blocking under the grip makes a solid hold leaving both hands free.
