The White Mountain Carbine had 2 different twists. 1 in 38, the other I think was 1 in 20 or 1 in 28. I had a .50 WMC with a tight twist and it was great on deer with 60 gr 3F Goex and green sabots with 240 XTP''s. The WMC had a half octagon half round barrel, single trigger. The Pennsylvania Hunter Carbine also had a short barrel, half octagon, half round, single trigger with a round ball twist, 1 in 66 I think.

I think they were the shortest rifle T/C ever made your best bet for a projectile will be a conical or patched round ball but don't use to heavy of a powder charge because the slender wrist on a white mountain were known for cracking from the flex of recoil. Most of the fox ridge guns were a standard model that they had done an awesome deep gloss bluing job on the barrel and other metal parts.
My TC custom Buckeye Carbine has a round 19.5 inch 50cal barrel and still burns 80 gr OE 3F
