    N330 and 240gr Cast Bullets

    Hi folks,

Looking for a 50m plinking load out of the 20" 1:20 Chiappa lever action

Does anyone have any load data for .44 Rem. Mag. with Viht N330 and 240gr cast bullet?

(Viht only lists N330 in the .44Spc)

    Help much appreciated.

    Hello,

I have no data for you , it looks like N330 has been skipped for a reason.

I'm browsing old and new VV manuals here and it's always the same, there is data for 310,320,...,340,350... in many calibers. N330 no. I wonder why?

    When I had a 44 I used N320 for light loads.

Let me guess you load 9mm with N330 and want to use it in 44 mag, too?

I can Quick Load something N330 for you if you really want but my guess is there are more approppriate VV powders for 44 Mag.

No, not loaded any pistol Ammo before. Just like Viht powder and there’s a local stockist...

Wonder what else he’s got... tin star seems popular. If you could run quick load that would be helpful! Thanks in advance!

Here is what I might try if N330 was my only option:

You made me interested,I'll call Vihtavuori tomorrow and ask why they omitted N330 from their 44 mag data. N320 is listed up to 250 grain bullets...?

    I really like 3N37,too.

N330 is less common and skipped over in much of their reloading data. I’d assume N330 is workable if both N320 and N340 have data. I’ve heard VV does a good job providing data when emailed but haven’t ever done so myself.

Hi Petander, let me know what you find out from Viht.

What max is the above? Can't quite read it.

That Quick Load screen a medium load with a Lee 240 bullet.

I'd buy 3N37 and go with published data.

i don't recommend vv n330 in the 44mag...(tried working it up and ran into trouble quick and well before getting out of 44special power range)... n110 is much better choice in the 44mag... for sure there are better choices, n340 and n350 both work well...

N110 is great for full power loads, yes.

Like I said, there is as reason for no N330 data.
