    Beautiful Buck!

Put some Oxy-Clean in the water and boil the heads, it really works great.

Remington Model 7 - just to clarify and I wouldn't trust this load in anything less strong.

Yesterday I shot my 35 Rem with LVR and yielded 2175fps with the 220gr Speer. That breathes new life into an old cartridge.

    Thanks, Dinny

Yes, the 35 Rem is no slouch if it is used in an action more capable than the old M8s the cartridge is held to a SAAMI MAP of 33,500 psi to. In a M336, a M7600 such as the OPs or in a rebarreled Mauser or other bolt action the cartridge can perform extremely well, especially with LeveRevolution powder. Out of my M91 Argie with a 26" Shilen barreled 35 Remington I push a 231 gr 35 XTP cast bullet at 2313 fps with a measured psi of 41,800. Accuracy runs consistent 1 - 2 MOA with the aperture rear and post front sights. With 16.6 ftlbs of recoil and 2500 ftlbs of muzzle energy it still retains 1500 fps and 1500 ftlbs of energy at 250 yards...….

Never fails yesterday was the first day and went out small game hunting since the holiday hunt has now ended. I of course walked right up on a deer and then it stood there for a good 10 to 15 minutes until I walked away. Somebody must’ve told it the hunt was over.
