I've got five or six of them hanging out in my front yard. They're getting so tame from exposure to humans, that shooting them is out of the question for me. Paul Mccartney said, 'if slaughterhouses had glass walls, we'd all be vegetarians.' I do all of my hunting at Safeway....

Kinda like this boy. Took this photo out of our back door, he was in the yard of the elementary school across the street. Truth. See them around often, they know where they're safe.....

Nope. The only way I'll ever see someplace that cold again, is watching it on TV.

I'd have to be dang hungry and broke.

I love eating it but have lost my desire to kill most things.

It looks like they are having a hard enough time as it is , no need to make it harder for them .

I've reverted to killing paper and steel plates. I may go deer hunting once more before my dirt nap, but I don't have the "want to" like I used to.

Shortly after my Dad died, maybe a week or so, I went deer hunting. I had parked my truck on a tall Hill on a clear cut. While I was standing there next to the truck just looking around I saw a nice buck wandering around following a game trail. I grabbed my rifle and watched where he was heading, and literally crawled to the edge of the hill and watched him bed down under a fallen pine.100 yards or less away. I had my Ruger #1B in 7mm RemMag and put the crosshairs on him, steadied myself and said BANG. Then I got up and went home, and haven't shot anything but a snake or two since.

Must be spring there, the deer are poping up again, just like here. Last year there was sooo much snow here the rabbits had snow shoes on!!!!! As for could you shoot it ? Ya but why? There no antlers, and if I have to hire equipment to move snow to get to them there really needs to be antlers.

I wouldn't shoot at that location. Now, if they got out of the deep snow, and it was legal circumstances, I'd shoot one of them in a heartbeat.
