I looked at the picture d had the usual thoughts such as 1) tracking won't be hard, 2) cooling the meat not likely a problem, 3) You might have to wait for snow melt until it finally falls over dead, and the like. So much for silly thoughts.
Some city slicker would claim it is not very sporting, but not for a group of coyotes, wolves, or cats. They would have an easy and stealthy stalk. Without watching to see what amount of effort they had to put in to move. That would remind me how much effort I would have to put in to get there. I would likely grab a camera first and hope they made it to a more open clearing or at least an area of better feed. Would I shoot those deer? You betcha, I'd do like my dad did when I was a kid. Dad would draw an 'X' with his finger and mark them for next season!
