Racing, since you have a lathe and some skill in its use, make a "hammer" swage that will let you bump your present castings to the proper diameter and roundness. I also agree with others that your bullets are too long for the rifling pitch. Accuracy fails quickly when a bullet is over long for the rifling twist.
To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, the trouble with many shooting experts is not that they're ignorant; its just that they know so much that isn't so.

That IS an idea no doubt.
As long as the boolits are recalibrated afterwards.

    Anyways.
Went to the range, this time out with the Wesson rifle and them patched boolits carrying the more stout paper. Indeed. Now i´m at least on paper and the whole thing shows great promise.
Measuring the boolits though i came up a few hundreds of a millimeter short. Like 10,02 IRL why loading was still on the easy side. Need to reinvestigate that no doubt.

Thanx SO much for your help n assistance thus far boys!

Cast your bullets from pure lead. That is what works in my Whitworth, and they leave hexagonal holes in the paper.
