    Daisy model 225.

Nice find my friend found for me. 20 bucks. Daisy model 225. Limited run made from 1991 to 1993 and 1994 to 1996. Monte Carlo stock. I'm thinking the 94 to 96 may have been different maybe the old style bb tube. 91 to 93 has the newer bb port on the side of the barrel. Decent shape for its age. Museum said Sept of 93. The flash is reflecting light that looks like blemishes that are not there.Until I bought this I wasn't aware of this model 25 variant. Click image for larger version.

A gun is like a parachute: If you need one and don't have one, you won't be needing one again.

Been meaning to reply to this but kept putting it off expecting there would be some posts by others.
Anyway I remember seeing one of these years ago. It looked very old when I saw it many years ago so it might have been an earlier incarnation.
The 25 was a great BB gun. Mine was extraordinarily accurate for a smoothbore. that's about all I remember about it as it was stolen not long after I got it. I think it was in used condition when I got it, a hand me down I suppose.

The recent copies of the 25 don't have much going for them, weak steel and sloppy assembly from what I've seen, and no where near the velocity.
It seems to require at least 350 FPS for a BB gun to give decent accuracy even at close range.
