How is trapping

How did the ones trap doing? for me not as good as I like .

Trapping was good, but prices were horrible. Sold 44 beaver green skun for $6.50 each, and 60 dried at $7.50 a lb. Good news was castor was $90 a lb dried.

That is the only thing on beaver is high price is the castors . nice to hear from you Rally. Hope you doing well. I only got 6 beaver this season because for what there is around that I trap and had to short the trapping for me because of health problems I was have and getting that take care of now.be ready for the spring and summer and next trapping season. For the time I did trap I did not bad for how it was . My fur buyer told me I done better then some that show up to sell to him . I did got 4 coyotes. they where mix on grades the top was 65 and the low was 15 because it was a red.

Hey there 9260. Doesn't the trapping season there in Iowa go till the end of March? You and your bro could go out and set 5 or 8 330's and get another 10 or 14 flat tails be for the season ends. There is a winter blizzard headed your way tomorrow though. And the tailing freeze might slow you down a day or two. I know the ground is frozen up there so drive right to the water and throw out some steel. Good luck and tell your brother hi.

The season for everything but beaver close the end of Jan and for beaver it close the 15 of April , there is not many beaver around here anymore like it was before the 99 flood.I am done trapping for the season unless something come up on beaver .I forgot to say my brother dose not trap I am the only one that dose .
