The mold is a 300 gr SWC for the 454 Casull. I won’t be using it in a Casull but instead a custom 5 shot Linebaugh in 45 Colt. Does anyone have any advice for this Bullet and mold? In the past I have used LBT”s large flat meplat design.

From what I could tell it looks to be a heavier version of the Lyman 454-424. There is a 300 gr SWC in the current Lyman cast bullets handbook. The loads looked quite low
but it could be pressure issues with that heavy bullet.

To look that mold up I has to look at an old catalog on to see what the bullet looked like. I have 4 , 6 & 8 cavity H&G molds and heat them on a hot plate and they cast great bullets
from the first pour to the last. The 6 & 8 cavity molds are pot drainers but there is a big pile of bullets.
