Help with Model number of Galesi Pistol

I bought this Armi Galesi 25 Auto from a friend, minus the grips. I plan to make my own grips but need the screws that hold them on. When I contacted Numrich they said I need the model number, which I can't find anywhere. I think it might be a model 9, but am just not sure. There is a number "1958" stamped on the grip, which may indicate the year of manufacture. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had one like that; I drilled & tapped the grip screws out to 6-48 and made some Pecan grips for it. It was a good little shooter till the firing pin channel wore out- I sold it for parts after trying and failing to get a correct slide. .25 autos are cool to me.

Those are probably a standard metric size, a 3 mm or 4mm. A trip to Lowes, or Ace Hardware might save you a bit of money. At least, here abouts they have metric screws in the hardware aisle.

I believe that's a model 503.
And if you're going to make grips yourself, the only part of the screw that's really important are the threads. You can make hole for the screw head whatever size you like. I would just go ahead and order screws from Numrich for a Galesi pistol (pick a model number) and the chances are good the thread size will fit the frame.

The other options have been mentioned : find a generic screw that fits or drill and tap the frame for an appropriate screw.
