Absolutely Giddy! S. Parker tuned scale is headed home!

Been almost 5 months since I sent off my M5 Lyman (Ohaus) scale to CA to get 'tuned. Very anxious to try her out, hopefully this weekend. I didn't realize Scott has a Facebook page for his service? hc18flyer

I tried to get ahold of him years ago, to no avail.

Did you test it well before, so you know how much better it is when you get it back?

I played around with photo electric switches and one of my stock 10-10’s and could resolve to the kernel. So I kind of lost interest in finding him but would like to know how much better he make them.

Even that old 5-0-5 in the back ground isn’t too shabby, I use it most often with my auto trickler.

He has quite the reputation, please post your results.

It’s not that difficult or expensive to reproduce. Much less expensive than other methods that will have you repeating to .02 grains. If you already have a beam scale the sensor is less than $15 shipped to you.

Using a latching switch and a relay is the rest of it.
