    480 Ruger Mold

I designed 2 bullets for my 4.6" 480 Ruger Super Blackhawk and forwarded them to Tom @ Accurate Molds, he put them in his catalog and I ordered a mold with both designs cut in it on 11/15/2019 and I received the mold today 11/18/2019.
Great service and the mold is as always machined to perfection.

Nice looking’ boolits for a great cartridge.

I wish that there had been more leverguns made for it! My SRH in 480 could have stood a repeating rifle as a companion.

I got a chance to cast some up to do some measurements on and for the first use I was getting great bullets as soon as the mold came up to temp. They cast at .479 the diameter I asked for when the mold was ordered. With the alloy i had in the pot the LFN shaped one comes in at 395gr and the Bore Ride TC came in at 403gr. Both are very consistent in weight of the 5 each I weighed +- 1.5gr. I still need to do a couple more heat cycles and then will cast some up to size and shoot.
