    Filters

    What 4500+ air filters (Oil water separation) are you using and what do you like or dislike about them? Gp

    I use the gold Tuxing filter, from eBay. It uses desiccant media cartridge and works quite well. You must make sure the desiccant is inside a plastic tube and doesn’t contact the aluminum housing because I’ve read that the desiccant is corrosive to the aluminum.

    I previously used a cotton tampon filter but it’s not as efficient as the desiccant filter.

    Thanks for the reply igolfat8. I've ordered one of the tube filters from Ebay that works along the lines of a tampon. I saw a youtube video on how to add a 1" PVC tube filled with desiccant media in the tube. It should arrive next week. So far everything's working out well. Gp
