    my dad

    87 years old this deer season and shot a 6 pointer. Not bad! Hope I can still do it at that age.

    it doesnt matter how big the deer, but its good he is still out there doing something he enjoys. many at that age sit in a chair and wait to die.

    Can't argue with that! When the woods quiet down with no birds active, no squirrels or crows, that means nap time. At least short power naps. 85 in January for me.

    I can remember Dad a few years before he passed getting ready for deer season. I told him if he got one to call and Id help him get it up, Here that would mean bringing the font end loader to him and getting it out of the woods. He laughed and said If I shoot one we have to clean it and butcher, If I watch it I just have the memory and no more work. LOL. Dad passed last year at 87
