    Also, it’s not required that you use it on a firearm it’s designated for. Lots of folks buy .30 cal cans and use them on .223’s for example as it’s more cost effective, even if not the most efficient.

    I've got a hybrid .46" and use it on everything from 17hmr to 450bm. You get better performance if the can is closer to the bore size but unless you're using subsonic ammo the Sonic crack is still louder.
