    WTB - Russian Hydrant Slug

I'm looking to try these Russian/Italian slugs, specifically the "hydrant" shape in 12 ga.

Anyone have any they can sell me with the special wads?

Looking for a set of 25 or so?

    Thanks

go to svarog.ru and find the mold you are talking about, then give us the name, looks like a hydrant is subjective and could be a number of them.

Hi - I have seen the slug referred to as both Russian and Italian. Here is a pic.

Not exactly sure what you want but I think you can find them here on this page.

Thanks - Yes that is where i got the pic from. I should have been more clear.

What I am hoping to find is someone that already has the mold and is willing to sell me 25 or so cast slugs.

    thank you

all their molds are Russian because thats were they are manufactured. the Italian that you want to try is a bugger to cast, it does not want to release worth a dang from the tail and the wads that go with them are hard to find. I played with it for a little while and never got a decent slug so I gave up on it. sometimes you can find the wads at https://tatvcanada.com/ hopefully somebody has a few to send you.

Rancher, thanks for info. I suspected the casting would be more complicated than normal, which is another reason why I am looking to test a few rounds before committing to a mold.

    Thanks
