Saw another thread on How many handguns do you have that you've never fired.
I'm wondering how many of you own Rifles that you have never fired ?
And how many are NIB ?
I have two.

I don't own any firearms I have not fired.
I have a couple I haven't fired for several months.
Hate to say I have a few but only due to lack of opportunity.
I Have:
Springfield trapdoor which looks unfired. 50 rds ready to go.
Win 92 in 25-20. About 150 rds ready.
Rem 25 in 32-20. 2-300 rds ready.
CVA Mtn Flintlock in 54. Cops won't let me have it yet.
Win 1904. About as new as a Win 1904 can get. Nothing I can really use a 22lr on around here.
Just looking at the list makes me sad
None, but I have some I don't take out of the safe much. My K31 comes to mind and I'm ashamed to say I haven't shot it in over 15 years.

I have a 1906 tula M91 Finn capture and a 1917 Peter the great M91 that I have never shot. The 1906 was a friends that I bought because he was never going to shoot it. Just never had the time due to his multitudes of other guns and work as a smith. The 1917 ptg was a purchase at an lgs.

I once had an apache model nylon 66 that was unfired. I bought it off a friend that bought it new. It was about 2 weeks before I fired it. I had a colt junior in 25 acp that was unfired too, about a day or so. Both jammed and I traded them both.
I have a NIB Kimber 89 375 H&H super America It is perfect . I just can`t put a scope on it and take it shooting I might scratch it . But I Will next summer.
None and none.
My Mosin's once I worked up loads that work got cleaned and set aside. I have a pretty nice collection of H&R single shot Handi rifles. All have had basic load work done and been sighted in. I probably shoot the .357mag handi the least as it is king of the hill accuracy wise. I have a pair of 44 mags that are big hits at the range.
Lately its been pistols, but they don't get 2 weeks without getting shot.
Last one was a Beretta 81 which is quickly moving its way up through the pack. At 12+1 is has the firepower of 2 revolvers. I just found 2 more mags for from Classic Firearms. I looked when I bout it and mags were 55$ and up and out of stock. Classic had lightly used ones for 35$ so I bought 2. She is a fancy little girl that Beretta, and she likes the finer things in life. Has a sense of style. So I found her a lady's zippered handbag to live in, in zebra stripes. And she rewarded me with the next 5 shots in a row plumb dead center. OK you do what you do, I do what I need to do and we put them in the bull. Understanding and agreement reached.
Maybe I'm crazy putting emotions on inanimate objects. But hey, if it works, why not!
Unfired rifles? Does not compute.....
Guns are made for SHOOTING!
Several, but it's nobodies business how many.

A single shot Frank Wesson in .32 rimfire came to me years ago.
I can't find ammo for it.
There's some old stuff out there for about $5-10 each, but most of it is duded out from old age.

I have one unfired rifle, a Persian 29 BRNO made Mauser. It was unfired when I acquired it about 25 years ago and still remains in that condition. This is not by design, but because I just never got my round tuit.

Disclaimer: The above is not holy writ. It is just my opinion based on my experience and knowledge. Your mileage may vary.
I've got several "projects" that I either haven't fired or which will not fire for various reasons. Hopefully I'll eventually get to them!
Never.

I don't have any unfired rifles. I've not bought any brand new rifles for years. I fact I've bought very few new rifles in my life. I never was into new rifles that much and everything I was interested in was obsolete even as a kid. Handguns are a different story. I wheel and deal in S&W revolvers and only interested in P&R (era) or before I have a few NIB and have models I'm not interested in, NIB too. I have multiples of most models I'm interested in so no reason to shoot NIB gun.
Same, none here, they get shot the day I acquire them, in general. I prefer NOT nib, I am going to depreciate it as quickly as possible. Preowned and well loved!
