Quick question. I fired 404 gr bullets with 77 grains ffg. I noticed one slightly swollen cartridge base. Perhaps I didn’t have bullet directly on powder? I want to load the bullet out a bit further. Any opinions on a charge of 78 grains? Thanks!

Ok. I like the longer bullet as it will sit closer to the rifling. These are 44 - 370 bullets I cast in RCBS mold with very soft lead. They fit into a fired case right from the mold. So I should get a 44 mold in lighter weight bullet? Maybe with hollow base to make it longer?
