Just thought I'd give a heads up got a text and e mail from somebodies claiming to be Best Buy's Geek Squad .According to the e mail Geek Squad services were being discontinued,a toll free number was given to call to get a refund on the services. I was in Best buy this morning and asked about the e mail and was told it's a scam Geek Squad is not discontinuing services.
Best advice is always NEVER FOLLOW UP A COLD CALL OR EMAIL DIRECTLY.
I always go back and look them up on the net then contact them from published method. That and goggle such and such scam to see what pops up. Better yet just ignore itUnfortunately my cars warranty expires at least 4 times a week, boo hoo
