25 Krag Short Number 3

Its an oddball but I have a Martini chambered in this cartridge. Has anyone ever done any case forming for this baby. I was thinking of using a modified 257 roberts sizing die but its not going to have the same neck angle. That lead me to think about, only momentarily, about running a 257 roberts reamer into the martini to clean up the neck angle but I've discarded that idea for now. Then thought about running a 30 Krag reamer with a modified pilot into the modified die but its probably harder than a reamer could handle.

Any help out there.

In P.O. Ackley Book, he does mention he made an 25 Krag short Ackley . This Round was a shorter version on the 30/40 Krag case but was not an Inproved Version.
I do make a 25 Krag ( original Nidner version). This is a 30/40 Full length case necked and re-shouldered to 25 cal

Ackley's Book does not give an angle. but not an improved one. meaning 35 or 40 degree

Do you have a chamber cast? If not make one and send it to Dave Davidson at CH4D and wait a year or so. You will have a die set, and talk to him about form dies as well.
